The Palm and Jumeirah: Where Dubai’s Autumn Openings Are Landing
From One&Only The Palm to the beachfront strip, the season’s biggest new restaurants cluster by the water. Here is what is scheduled, with dates as announced.

Dubai’s autumn restaurant calendar has a clear geography. Alongside the arrivals in DIFC, many of the season’s most anticipated openings sit by the water: on the Palm Jumeirah, where resort restaurants are the draw, and on the Jumeirah beachfront, where established brands are building beach-facing versions of themselves. Everything below is drawn from announcements and published round-ups, and dates can move.
On the Palm
The nearest date belongs to One&Only The Palm. Casea 101 by Yannick Alléno is scheduled to open there on 19 October: a Riviera-inspired waterfront restaurant built around Italian coastal cooking, with seafood towers, crudos, fire-cooked catches and pizzas from an open kitchen. L’Abysse, a 34-seat Japanese-French omakase from the same chef, is listed for the same day by What’s On and Fact Magazines, though the resort’s own Casea 101 release does not mention it. Our full report has the details.
ROKA The Palm is the second Dubai restaurant from the robatayaki brand, which has operated in Business Bay for about five years. It is planned for the rooftop of Six Senses The Palm on the West Crescent, with contemporary Japanese cooking from the robata grill and waterfront views. TradeArabia reported in June that opening dates would be announced soon, and none has been published since; What’s On expects it in 2026.

The Palm also set the stage for the season’s biggest industry moment. The 2026 Michelin Guide Dubai was unveiled at Atlantis The Royal on 6 October, and Alléno’s STAY, at One&Only The Palm, kept its two stars. Our analysis of the guide sets out the results.
Along Jumeirah’s beachfront
The beachfront cluster is led by La Petite Maison. Le Café LPM is due to open on 23 October across from H by Huna in Jumeirah. Fact Magazines describes an all-day café with a South of France design, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and a pâtisserie counter throughout the day; it is the first in a planned collection of LPM cafés.
LPM-Sur-Mer follows in November at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. It is the group’s first dedicated beachfront concept, with an indoor restaurant, a terrace, a lounge, a beach area and a private pétanque court, and tbreak reports a staged launch. Reservation details have yet to be announced.

Looking ahead to 2027
Two further beachfront projects are further out. Zuma Beach House, on a double-front beach plot overlooking Port de La Mer in Jumeirah 1, is listed by What’s On for 2027 and would be the brand’s third UAE location. Cipriani Lido at J1 Beach, created with Fundamental Hospitality, is also expected in 2027 and would be the first Cipriani Lido in the UAE, with a signature restaurant, private dining rooms and a terrace overlooking the Gulf. Both dates are the latest announced, and neither venue has confirmed an exact opening day.
The calendar at a glance
- 19 October: Casea 101 at One&Only The Palm (scheduled); L’Abysse is listed for the same day.
- 23 October: Le Café LPM in Jumeirah.
- November: LPM-Sur-Mer at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, exact day not announced.
- No date announced: ROKA The Palm at Six Senses The Palm.
- 2027: Zuma Beach House and Cipriani Lido, Jumeirah 1 and J1 Beach.
How to read the season
Water is the common thread. Casea 101 is a waterfront pavilion, ROKA The Palm is a rooftop with waterfront views, LPM-Sur-Mer comes with a terrace and a beach area, and Cipriani Lido is planned with a terrace overlooking the Gulf. For the cooler months, Dubai’s newest restaurants are betting that diners want to be outdoors.
Two patterns stand out. On the Palm, openings are resort-led and chef-led: one chef adding two new rooms to a resort where he already cooks, and a rooftop concept arriving with a new hotel. On Jumeirah, the story is brand extension, with established names adapting their formats for sand and sea. For readers planning ahead, the practical advice is the same in both places: treat any date that has not been confirmed by the venue itself as provisional, and check the restaurant’s own channels before booking.
